Saying he has nothing personal against Dhoni, Mohinder Amarnath said; "I believe Dhoni should be removed as captain of the Test side. He hasn't set the Test stage on fire. A captain's place in the team should be secure and I don't see his place secure in the side.
"He (Dhoni) doesn't have the technique for Test cricket", said Amarnath.
The former selector however praised Dhoni's ODI performance and referred to him as a match-winner in ODI and Twenty20.
