Another day and it is another scintillating performance by the Indian skipper Virat Kohli as he scored his 34th One Day International century. The explosive batsman achieved this feat against South Africa in the 3rd ODI where he led the Men in Blue to a comfortable victory of 124 runs to take a 3-0 lead in the six-match series.

Kohli's unbeaten 160 off 159 balls is the highest individual score by an Indian batsman against South Africa in the Proteas backyard as he surpassed former Team India skipper Sourav Ganguly's 127 at Johannesburg in 2001.

The skipper also became the first Indian batsman to score a ton against the hosts at Newlands and the first Indian ODI captain with the most hundreds to his name.

This was Kohli's second highest ODI score, his second ton in the ongoing ODI series and his 34th overall One Day International century. There is no stopping Kohli as the skipper is on a rampage at the current moment. With his ton, Team India have taken a 3-0 unassailable 3-0 lead in the six-match series. 

Following Kohli's explosive performance, Australian vice-captain David Warner termed Kohli's performance as 'On a different level'. Twitter was flowing with congratulatory messages as the Cricket fraternity wished the Indian skipper. Take a look.
