IPL Live Cricket Score, IPL 2018 Match 7, Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Mumbai Indians

IPL 2018, SRH vs MI IPL Live Score

An excellent game of cricket we have just witnessed. It went right down to the wire and in the end it was SUNRISERS HYDERABAD who tasted their second win of the season by beating defending champions MUMBAI INDIANS by 1 wicket in match no.7 of Indian Premier League 2018. To be honest, they made a mountain out of a molehill. The chase was always under their control after a power-packed beginning in the Powerplay. Shikhar Dhawan was in his elements and Wriddhiman also played his part. The hosts were cruising at one stage but suddenly hit a roadblock once Mayank Markande was introduced. (CRICKET STREAMING - SRH vs MI)

The young Mumbai leggie was once again on song with his variations and foxed the batsmen with his guile. He hunted down four wickets and gave a sniff to his team. They kept picking wickets but failed to stop the flow of runs. The asking run rate was never an issue for the home team but a few reckless shots from their batsmen took it close. The Mumbai bowlers, Jasprit Bumrah and Mustafizur Rahman, gave it their all towards the end but still failed to cross the line. A word of praise for Deepak Hooda who held his calm amidst all the pressure and then Billy Stanlake finished things off with a big blow. (SCORECARD)

HIGHLIGHTS, SUNRISERS HYDERABAD vs MUMBAI INDIANS, IPL 2018, MATCH 7 FROM HYDERABAD

23.51 IST:

23.47 IST: BILLY STANLAKE, YOU BEAUTY! The giant of a batsman swings his big bat across the line, gets one in his half and lofts it over mid-wicket. It falls safely and races away to the fence. Smiles all around in the Hyderabad camp, the crowd has gone mad. What a game! What a finish! Sunrisers Hyderabad (148/9) beat Mumbai Indians (147/8) by 1 wicket

23.44 IST: 1 needed from 1 ball! Super over anybody? It is Billy Stanlake who is on strike. The fielders come in. The keeper has taken off his right glove. Here we go...

23.40 IST: Very full in length outside off, Hooda drills it down the ground at long off and takes a run. Doesn't risk the second one there as the fielder quickly was to the ball.  SRH 145/9 in 19.3 overs

23.37 IST: SIX! What a shot under pressure! Deepak Hooda has brought the crowd to life here. Cutting runs from around the wicket and serves a full toss outside off, Hooda throws his heart and soul into this shot and launches it over wide long off for a biggie. A shot reminding us of the Nidahas trophy final when Dinesh Karthik hit the winning sixer, it was a similar blow.  SRH 143/9 in 19.1 overs

23.35 IST: 11 needed off 6 balls. Ben Cutting to bowl the pressure over. Can he do it for Mumbai? Deepak Hooda will be on strike. We cannot write off the thought of having a Super Over either.

23.34 IST: OUT! Another one bites the dust! Mustafizur has his arms afloat in celebration. A shortish length ball around off, angling away, Sandeep shuffles across the stumps to chip it over short fine leg but fails to connect properly. It lobs in the air and Krunal Pandya accepts the catch gleefully. Sunrisers Hyderabad 137/9 in 19 overs vs Mumbai Indians (147/8)

23.32 IST:

23.30 IST: OUT! Caught and bowled! Mumbai can believe! Their supporters in the crowd are going crazy. A slower delivery, full and on middle, Kaul tries playing it straight but ends up chipping it back. Rahman makes sure to keep it under his grasp. Phew, this is going down to the wire. Sunrisers Hyderabad 137/8 in 18.4 overs vs Mumbai Indians (147/8)

Mustafizur Rahman into the attack. 12 needed off 12, three wickets left.

23.26 IST: Denies a hat-trick. Bumrah angles in a full ball on middle and off, Kaul keeps it out safely to covers. Bumrah is bowled out, 4-0-32-2! SRH 136/7 in 18 overs

Siddarth Kaul to face the hat-trick ball. A slip in place.

23.25 IST: OUT! Gone first ball. There is still life left in this game. Bumrah is doing it for his team, he is on a hat-trick now. A fuller length ball outside off, Rashid tries to drive it through covers but it takes the outside edge and settles nicely in the gloves of Ishan Kishan. Sunrisers Hyderabad 136/7 in 17.5 overs vs Mumbai Indians (147/8)

23.23 IST: OUT! A soft dismissal for Pathan! Bumrah digs in a short ball on middle and off, Yusuf fails to middle his attempted pull shot properly and hands a simple catch to Kieron Pollard at short mid-wicket. Is there any twist in the tale? 12 needed off 14 balls. Sunrisers Hyderabad 136/6 in 17.4 overs vs Mumbai Indians (147/8)

23.19 IST: FOUR! Smartly played by the experienced campaigner! Picks the slower delivery early, it's on a length around middle and leg, Pathan doesn't try to overhit it and just places his shot wide of short fine leg for a boundary. SRH 133/5 in 17 overs, need 15 runs to win vs MI (147/8)

23.16 IST: NOT OUT! Deepak Hooda survives. A length ball on middle, slower in pace, Hooda eases it off his pads through mid-wicket and rushes back for the second run. A sharp and flat throw comes to the keeper who is standing in front of the stick and Kishan immediately breaks the stumps. Hooda also dives at the same time and it seems touch and go. They appeal and the square leg umpire goes upstairs. The replays roll in and it finds that the dive has saved Deepak.

23.14 IST: Appeal for a run-out and it's taken upstairs...

Strategic break. 24 needed off 24 balls and you have to back the batting team at this point of time. However, a wicket or two immediately after this break and Mumbai will fancy their chances.

23.11 IST: Brilliant over from Fizz! Rahman bowls it wide outside off, angling away, Pathan tries to run it past short third man but fails to connect. Just 3 from the over. SRH 124/5 in 16 overs

23.07 IST: Brilliant effort from Ben Cutting! Pathan tries to go big, seems to have got the connection as well but it has not gone the distance. Cutting at long on tries to catch the ball, does so too, but in the process, he starts to fall over the rope. The Aussie quickly releases the ball as he goes down. When all that happened, they take just a single. Ben has saved five. Outstanding work. SRH 121/5 in 15 overs

22.59 IST: FOUR! Short in length and on middle, Pathan gets across and help-pulls it behind square leg for a boundary. The runs continue to flow, they still are going at a rate over 8 in spite of losing wickets.  SRH 112/5 in 13.3 overs

22.57 IST:

Yusuf Pathan strides out to the middle. Also, Ben Cutting has been introduced into the attack.

22.56 IST: OUT! Shakib drags it on! Mayank has his fourth, what a debut season he is having. Another googly, landing a bit short and outside off, Shakib stays back footed and then tries to push at it at the last moment. It takes the inside half of his bat and lights the stumps. Markande is ecstatic. 41 needed off 42 balls, game on! Sunrisers Hyderabad 107/5 in 13 overs vs Mumbai Indians (147/8)

22.52 IST:

22.51 IST: FOUR! A hit-me delivery, short and wide outside off, Shakib latches onto it and whacks it through point for a boundary. Mumbai need to cut down the flow of runs, only picking wickets won't do.  SRH 100/4 in 11.3 overs

22.48 IST: FOUR! A cracking beginning from Hooda. Shimmies down the track and bludgeons it past his partner at the other end for a powerful boundary.  SRH 94/4 in 11 overs

Deepak Hooda is in next.

22.45 IST: OUT! Rash, very rash from Pandey. They don't need these kind of high risk shots as the asking rate is well under control. Markande dishes out a loopy leg spinner around off, Manish skips down the track and tries to heave it over the leg side. But it spins away to catch a top edge. The ball loops in the air, Mayank moves across to his left to take the catch initially but after seeing his skipper getting underneath it, he stops. Sunrisers Hyderabad 89/4 in 10.2 overs vs Mumbai Indians (147/8)

22.41 IST: FOUR! Poor delivery, it's short and outside off, Pandey helps himself with a boundary by playing the square cut. 8 runs and a wicket from the over!  SRH 81/3 in 9 overs

Shakib Al Hasan walks in next.

22.39 IST: OUT! Markande removes Dhawan for 45. Sunrisers Hyderabad 77/3 in 8.5 overs vs Mumbai Indians (147/8)

Manish Pandey is the new batsman.

22.36 IST: OUT! Terrific review again from Mumbai! They have got the prized scalp of Kane Williamson. The Kiwi skipper once again tries to be cute with his little dab shot. But this time he seems to have edged it behind. Ishan Kishan gathers the ball and straightaway runs in delight. He lets out a roaring appeal, the bowler also joins him but the umpire shows no interest. Mumbai opt for the review and hit the jackpot. The Snicko detects a slight edge. Hyderabad have suddenly hit a roadblock.  SRH 73/2 in 8 overs

22.34 IST: Appeal for a catch! Ishan Kishan is very sure as he lets out a big appeal. The bowler is also interested but the umpire remains unmoved. Mumbai take another review.

22.33 IST: FOUR! Deft! Rahman hurls across a cutter, around off on a length, Williamson sticks back and just opens the face of the bat at the last moment. Gets it away from the outside edge, well in control though, and it speeds away to the third man fence.  SRH 73/1 in 7.5 overs

22.31 IST: FOUR! Tonk! Rahman bowls it on the shorter side around off, Shikhar picks it in a trice, gets on top of the bounce and cracks his pull shot in front of square leg. No chance for the fielder in the deep.  SRH 68/1 in 7.2 overs

Skipper Kane Williamson walks in next.

22.28 IST: OUT! That's hitting the leg stump, wonder how? A well-disguised googly by Markande, Saha takes a little shimmy down the track and then realizes that he is beaten in flight. Fails to pick the variation, tries to keep it out but fails. He is rapped on the pads, they appeal but the umpire shakes his head. To be honest, that looked to be missing leg and at the most would have clipped the leg stump. But no. The replays roll in, finds the impact in line and shows it to be hitting the leg pole. Well, with the batsmen down the track a bit, it's a bit shocking to see that. Anyway, Saha has been given the marching orders. First success for Mumbai but they need many more in quick time. Sunrisers Hyderabad 62/1 in 6.5 overs vs Mumbai Indians (147/8) in Hyderabad

22.26 IST: DRS time! Saha fails to pick the googly, is hit on the pads, they appeal but nothing from the umpire. Mumbai take the referral.

22.25 IST: FOUR! That's a wrong length from the young leggie. Half-tracker outside off, Dhawan camps back, picks his spot and spanks it to the deep cover fence. Lewis in the deep tried his best but to no avail.

22.24 IST: Mayank Markande is introduced into the attack. He is fresh from a heroic debut and his team wants him to do the magic again. A slip in place.

22.22 IST: A speedy beginning from Hyderabad. They are off to a flying start and Mumbai have their task cut out. Dhawan has looked in fine touch, while Saha after getting a life, has settled down and is batting sensibly. Only 92 needed, the asking rate is well under control and Mumbai will have to pick wickets, that too in a heap, to make a match out of this.

22.21 IST: FOUR! Streaky this time. Hyderabad won't mind this at all. A length ball around off, cutting back in a bit, Dhawan tries to play it late but it takes the inside half of the bat and races past the stumps to the fine leg fence. Back-to-back boundaries take SRH to 56/0 after 6 overs.

22.20 IST: FOUR! Nicely done! Wrong line from Bumrah, drifts down the leg side and Dhawan has no qualms in flicking it behind square leg for a boundary. 50 comes up for Hyderabad!

22.17 IST: FOUR! Dhawan welcomes Bumrah with a boundary. A great start to the over again for Hyderabad. A juicy half-volley outside off and Dhawan cashes in. A crunchy cover drive from the bat of Dhawan and it speeds away to the fence in no time.

22.16 IST: Krunal Pandya to Shikhar Dhawan, 1 run. The batsman works it down the leg side. They pick up a single. Just 4 from the over!  After 5 overs, hosts Hyderabad are 42/0.

22.14 IST: Bowling change. It's Krunal Pandya to roll his arm, for the first time this season.

22.12 IST: FOUR! Hit with utter disdain! Cutting lets out a length ball outside off, slower in pace, Saha stands back and powers it over the non-striker's head for a boundary.

22.10 IST: Ben Cutting is into the attack.

22.09 IST: FOUR! Edgy! Sangwan goes short and Saha top edges his attempted pull shot down to fine leg for a boundary. Turning out to be an expensive over.

22.07 IST: SAHA DROPPED AND FOUR! Cutting is the culprit there. He did all the hard work to reach but then spills out the chance. Coming to the delivery, it's a length ball outside off, Saha attempts to pick it over the leg side but fails to middle it properly. It balloons in the air towards mid on, Ben runs behind from there, gets his hands to it but fails to hold on. To add to the misery, it runs away to the fence.

22.06 IST: FOUR! Poor balls will travel. Sangwan delivers a length ball, angling into the batsman, Dhawan takes a positive stride forward and lofts it over mid-wicket for a boundary. Good start to the over, pressure straightaway on the bowler.

22.04 IST: FOUR! If you spend some time in the middle, keep patience, then you will get bad balls. Bumrah delivers it full and in the line of the middle stump. Dhawan flicks it off his pads and it races through mid-wicket, beating the chase from the fielder inside the circle.

22.01 IST: Jasprit Bumrah to bowl from the other end. Rohit not trying out spin here, maybe because Saha and Dhawan, both play spin quite well.

22.00 IST: After the 1st over, Hyderabad are 7/0. Pradeep Sangwan to Wriddhiman Saha, 1 run. Straighter in line this time, Sangwan. It's on a length and easily worked through backward square leg for a run.

21.58 IST: FOUR! Poor, poor delivery and it has been duly punished. Sangwan offers plenty of width outside off, the length doesn't matter much after that. Dhawan gets the chance to free his arms and he smashes it past the cover fielder for a cracking boundary.

21.55 IST: Back for the run chase. It's not a big ask in front of Hyderabad but pressure of a run chase can make you do funny things. Mumbai have a good bowling unit and they surely will try their best to defend this total and earn first points this season. Wriddhiman Saha and Shikhar Dhawan are the Hyderabad openers. Pradeep Sangwan to kick things off for Mumbai.

21.45 IST:

21.41 IST: Mumbai Indians score 147/8 in 20 overs against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Hyderabad. Sandeep 2/25, Siddarth 2/29

Jasprit Bumrah comes out to bat. He will be facing the hat-trick ball.

21.35 IST: OUT! That is plumb! Three reds show Hawk Eye. Another slower ball does the trick. It is on off and Sangwan is completely deceived as he tries to flick across the line. He misses to get hit on the pads. Sandeep makes a huge appeal but the umpire does not agree with him. Sandeep however, feels he has got his man and convinces his captain to go for the review. Williamson signals the 'T'. Replays roll in and it shows it to be hitting the off pole. The on-field call has to be overturned and another one bites the dust for Mumbai. Sharma gets two-in-two and he will be on a hat-trick. Mumbai Indians 136/8 in 18.5 overs vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

21.34 IST: Review time! First of the game and it has come in the penultimate over. A huge shout for LBW against Sangwan has been turned down. Sandeep likes it and he wants it to be reviewed. Williamson does so. Looks out to be honest.

21.32 IST: OUT! Yadav holes out! So two dots has brought about a wicket. Another slower ball, once again there is hardly any pace on this delivery. Yadav swings hard but the ball goes off the toe end towards Manish Pandey at long on. He runs in and takes a good catch. End of Yadav and Mumbai seem to be losing their way here. Mumbai Indians 136/7 in 18.4 overs vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

Pradeep Sangwan is the next man in.

21.27 IST: OUT! Rashid Khan gets his man and then gives him a stare! What a bowler and his passion for the game is at the upmost. Really fun to watch this guy. He bowls the googly outside off, Cutting does not pick it as he comes down the track and heaves across the line but misses to see his off stump get uprooted. An important wicket at an important time as we all know how dangerous Cutting can be. Mumbai Indians 133/6 in 17.3 overs vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

21.25 IST: FOUR! Excellent paddle sweep! This was very smart from Cutting. He goes down on one knee and paddles it over the short fine leg fielder and it runs away to the fence. MI 133/5 in 17.1 overs

21.23 IST: FOUR! When you can hit these kind of shots, no need to run extra runs. Yadav is right on top of a short delivery and pulls it magnificently well through square leg for a boundary. No chance for the fielder in the deep. Spoils a good over in a way. MI 129/5 in 17 overs

21.18 IST: Short in length and outside off, Cutting cuts it firmly off his back foot but the point fielder stops it with a dive. No run taken. The non-striker was interested but rushed immediately as Hooda missed his shy at the bowler's end. Yadav seems to have hurt himself while diving and the physio comes out. Mumbai don't want another injury.

21.15 IST: SIX! Top shot! Gets to the pitch of the ball, goes with the spin, inside out over covers and he has timed it so well that it has gone all the way. MI 121/5 in 16 overs

Ben Cutting walks out to the middle.

21.08 IST: OUT! In the air.. caught! There is the wicket Williamson wanted, there is the wicket the whole of Hyderabad wanted. Just as Mumbai were starting to get a move on, just as Pollard was starting to find the fence, he falls in a bizarre manner. Stanlake lands this one on a length around off, Pollard goes for the drive but as the ball sticks in the surface, he stops his shot. The ball, however, still hits the middle and goes high up in the air and it carries towards Dhawan. He is positioned at extra cover and he takes a simple catch. Half the side back in the hut for Mumbai. Mumbai Indians 110/5 in 14.5 overs vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

21.06 IST: FOUR! This is not the Pollard we know. He is playing with a lot of finesse and not with power. This one is short and outside off, Pollard cuts it past backward point and it runs away. 10 from the first 3 balls, this could be another good over to follow up the last one. MI 110/4 in 14.3 overs

21.05 IST: SIX! Welcome back to the bowling crease Stanlake! What a shot that was, he also holds the pose for the cameras. Full and on off, Pollard just lofts it over the bowler's end. Such is the power off the man that it goes all the way. Maximum off the first ball, pressure on the bowler. MI 106/4 in 14.1 overs

21.03 IST: SIX! BOOM BOOM GOES POLLARD! A much-needed biggie this one. He comes down the track, Shakib bowls it slower outside off. Pollard gets to the pitch of it and tonks it over extra cover for a maximum. MI 97/4 in 13.3 overs

21.01 IST: BEAUTY TO FINISH! The wrong'un again! Pollard has no clue about it as he reaches to it to defend, leaving a gap between bat and pad. The ball spins back in, sneaks between the gap and almost kisses the off pole. End of another tight over, the breaks are applied here. MI 90/4 in 13 overs

20.58 IST: FOUR! Smart batting! That third man was brought in for this ball and Pollard hits Kaul for a boundary there. He offers a little width outside off, that is enough for Pollard to guide it past the fielder at the short third man for a boundary. But a good over, just 5 from it and only 9 from the last two. MI 87/4 in 12 overs

20.54 IST: FOUR! A boundary on the fifth! Rashid bowls it a touch fuller this time on middle, Pollard gets to the pitch of it and strokes it over the bowler's head for a boundary.  MI 82/4 in 11 overs

Rashid Khan is back on.

20.51 IST: Williamson might be reading what I am writing as he brings in a slip. However, Billy goes for the double bluff as he goes for the yorker. Pollard though gets his bat down in time and flicks it through square leg for a run. MI 78/4 in 10 over

20.47 IST: FOUR! Top shot! He has given that a crunch! Short and on the body of the batsman. Kumar rocks back and pulls it through mid-wicket and then the ball races away. MI 76/4 in 9.2 overs

Strategic break has been signalled. What an exciting 8.5 overs this has been. We have had runs, dropped catches and wickets. Mumbai did lose their skipper early but then Ishan Kishan and Evin Lewis played their shots. But a double-wicket over by Kaul and another breakthrough just before the strategic break has seen them now being put on the back foot.

20.45 IST:

Kieron Pollard comes out to bat.

20.42 IST: OUT! Leading edge and taken! Shakib has the last laugh. He once again bowls it slower, brings all his experience into play. Pandya once again looks to nudge it on the leg side and take two like he did on the first two balls. This time though he closes the bat face a touch early and gets a leading edge which lobs towards Kane Williamson who takes a very easy catch. Another big wicket for Hyderabad as Pandya was looking really good out there. Mumbai in a spot of bother now. Mumbai Indians 72/4 in 8.5 overs vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

20.41 IST: FOUR! This is clever from Pandya! He is playing with the bowler's mind. He brings out the reverse sweep and connects well. It goes fine through the off side and the ball goes into the third man fence. This is turning out to be an expensive over. MI 72/3 in 8.4 overs

20.40 IST: FOUR! Make that nine from the first three. This is a beautiful cricketing shot! Shakib tosses it up on off, a little too full and this is easy for Pandya. He drives it through covers and the ball races away to the fence. . MI 68/3 in 8.3 overs

20.38 IST: A good yorker, around off, Yadav cannot do much with this. Only manages to dig it out back to the bowler. Four from the over.  MI 59/3 in 8 overs

20.34 IST: Brilliant over from Shakib, a dot to finish! Pandya keeps this ball on off out off the front foot. So Hyderabad are now looking to pull things back. MI 55/3 in 7 overs

Krunal Pandya walks out to the middle.

20.31 IST: OUT! TIMBER! The last ball of the Powerplay provides a wicket. The dangerous Lewis is walking back now. What an over this from Kaul two wickets and he now has brought Hyderabad right on top. Once again it is the knuckleball on off, Lewis goes for the heave across the line and that brings about his downfall. He misses to see his off stump get rattled. An excellent bowling change by Williamson and because of the two wickets, Hyderabad will be happier of the two sides after the Powerplay as Mumbai are 54 for 3.. Mumbai Indians 54/3 in 6 overs vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

20.28 IST: FOUR! Lewis has hit with all his might. A wicket has just fallen but he does Lewis will continue playing his shots. A full ball right in the zone of Lewis. He hammers it past mid off for a boundary. MI 52/2 in 5.4 overs

Suryakumar Yadav is the next man in.

20.25 IST: OUT! This time too the drop catch has not cost a lot as Kaul strikes off his second ball. Kishan fidgety stay out there comes to an end. He was playing too many shots and that has brought his downfall. Kaul angles it across the batsman as he lands this one outside off. Kishan tries to go big but gets a top edge towards third man where Pathan takes it very low. He then signals as he did not sight the ball. A good catch by him in the end. A much-needed wicket for Hyderabad, can they now build on this?. Mumbai Indians 48/2 in 5.2 overs vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

20.23 IST: DROPPED AGAIN! Hyderabad are in no mood to catch the ball today. Kishan with a reprieve this time. He has looked fidgety since the time he has come to the crease and this time too he is in a hurry. He shimmies down the track and tries to hit it across the line. He gets a top edge which lobs towards mid-off. Sandeep Sharma there runs backwards, tries to take it reverse cup but drops it. They needed this wicket, that should have been taken as the two are going bonkers. MI 48/1 in 4.5 overs

20.22 IST: 4 BYES! A huge appeal but pitched outside leg. Khan bowls the wrong 'un! Kishan goes for the reverse sweep but misses to get hit on the pads. The ball goes between the keeper and the slip for a boundary. MI 44/1 in 4.4 overs

Rashid Khan is into the attack.

20.19 IST: SIX! Another biggie! Mumbai are on the charge here. Once again it is on a length outside off, Lewis backs away and slaps this one over covers. The timing is such that this has gone all the way. MI 43/1 in 4 overs

20.15 IST: FOUR! Excellent start to this over as well. 3 boundaries in the last three and 21 runs from the last 7 balls. Short and outside off, Lewis punches it through covers and the ball races away. MI 32/1 in 3.1 overs

20.14 IST: FOUR! Back-to-back boundaries! This was nicely played. Sharma changes the angle and comes around the wicket. Bowls a slower one on off, Kishan opens the face of the bat and guides it past the diving keeper to the third man fence this time. A huge over for Mumbai 17 from it. So a wicket has fallen but the runs are flowing.  MI 28/1 in 3 overs

20.11 IST:

20.10 IST: SIX! That is huge! A hit me ball by Sharma. Down the leg side on the shorter side. Lewis helps it on its way and it goes over the fine leg fence for a biggie. MI 17/1 in 2.1 overs

Ishan Kishan comes out to bat.

20.09 IST: OUT! GONE! That is all from the Hit-man today. He has not made Hyderabad pay for the let-off he got. Stanlake strikes, he has the last laugh. A soft dismissal but. He bowls this on the pads, Sharma flicks it uppishly towards Shakib at square leg who dives forward and takes an excellent catch inches above the ground. He is pumped up and so are is the Hyderabad team. A big wicket for them as Rohit Sharma bags another failure. A good end to the over, 10 runs and a wicket from it. Mumbai Indians 11/1 in 2 overs vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

20.08 IST: FOUR! So the drop has already cost them eleven runs! Exquisite by Sharma. Fuller on off, Sharma leans into it and drives it through covers for a boundary. This is turning out to be an excellent over for Mumbai. Also all these runs will be hurting Hooda. MI 11/0 in 1.5 overs

20.06 IST: SIX! This has been hit with authority! First maximum and it comes off the bat off, Rohit Sharma. Short and on middle, Rohit rocks back and pulls it off the middle and over the square leg fence for a biggie. MI 7/0in 1.1 overs

Billy Stanlake to bowl from the other end.

20.02 IST: DROPPED! In the air... Hooda is getting under it, should be the first wicket for Hyderabad but Deepak DROPS IT! A huge chance goes abegging. Sharma deserved this wicket but to his fortune, he does not get it. He bowls this one a touch short on middle, not very short though. Sharma rocks back and tries to pull it but the length is not quite there. He gets a top edge which goes towards mid-wicket. Hooda there runs backwards, he seems to be struggling, gets two hands to it but can't hang on. MI 1/0 in 0.4 overs

19.59 IST: Sandeep Sharma who comes in for this game, will open the bowling for Hyderabad. He normally gets the ball to swing, can he get some movement in this one? We will have to wait for him to bowl the first ball to find out. Here we go...

19.57 IST: We are moments away from the first ball. The players and the umpires make their way to the middle. They are followed by the opening batsmen of Mumbai, Evin Lewis and Rohit Sharma.

19.45 IST:

19.40 IST: Mumbai Indians (Playing XI): Rohit Sharma (C), Evin Lewis, Ishan Kishan (wk), Suryakumar Yadav, Krunal Pandya, Kieron Pollard, Ben Cutting, Mayank Markande, Pradeep Sangwan, Mustafizur Rahman, Jasprit Bumrah
