To a question on whether he would be looking forward to a BJP invite, he said, “No. I am fine with my status. I will work for my Sardarshahar constituency people...what they say I will follow. I want to live with dignity and respect not as a psychophant. I will follow my inner voice in deciding the future.”
Earlier in the day, AICC suspended the Rajasthan MLA who was continously criticising Rahul Gandhi and dubbed him ‘MD of a team of jokers'.
A six-time MLA, Sharma represents Sardarshahar constituency in the Rajasthan assembly, in which Congress has 21 MLAs, including him.
