LJP will contest seven seats for Lok Sabha from Bihar.

The seats are : Hajipur (Ramvilas Paswan), Jamui (Chirag Paswan), Samastipur (Ramchandra Paswan), Vaishali (former don Rama Singh), Munger - Chandan Kumar (former don Surajbhan Singh's brother), Khagaria and Nalanda.

Paswan had left the Vajpayee government and NDA soon after the 2002 Gujarat riots, and had joined hands with Congress.
