On whether the BJP in Bengal would draw dividends from the so called Modi wave in the country, Bhattacharjee said, “I don't think so.
“The people of this state, not only a particular community, will not accept this. I have faith in the people of this state.”
He also said that it was unfair to show Modi filing nomination on TV while polling was on in other parts of the country.
“Attention of Election Commission has been drawn to the matter though the damage has already been done. I hope from next time such things will not be repeated,” he said.
On the oft-repeated Gujarat model of development, he said, “Modi's model of development is a corporate model. We are talking about inclusive growth.”
