Among the four Gujarat assembly seats, the Limadi seat was won by BJP's Kirit Sinh Rana by a margin of 24,770 votes, while the Morva Hadaf seat was won by BJP's Nimisha Sutar by a margin of 17,716 votes.
The Jetpur assembly seat was won by BJP's Jayesh Radaiya by a margin of 52,906 votes, while the Dhoraji assembly seat was won by BJP's Pravin Mankadiya by a margin of 11,000 votes.
The Samajwadi Party won the Handia assembly byelection in Uttar Pradesh. The party candidate Prashant Singh defeated BSP rival Pankay Tripathi by a margin of 26,817 votes. Singh polled 81,655 votes, while Tripathi polled 54,838 votes. The byelection was caused due to the death of Prashant's father Mahesh Narayan Singh of SP.
In Yawatmal, Maharashtra, Nandini Nilesh Parvekar of Congress defeated her BJP rival by 26,817 votes.
In Gujarat, BJP led by Narendra Modi made a clean sweep, bagging both the Lok Sabha seats of Porbandar and Banaskantha from Congress, and winning four other Assembly seats in the bargain.
