"The role of Shivajirao Patil-Nilangekar and others in relation to Adarsh has already been looked into." the CBI affidavit by investigation officer S.S. Giri said.
"The material unearthed during the course of investigation did not warrant action against them and, therefore, they are not included as accused in the charge sheet," it said.
"There is no material on hand to suggest that Patil-Nilangekar extended undue favours to the society and that his son-in-law was allotted flat as a quid pro quo," the CBI said.
However, the CBI's probe into 'benami' financial transactions involving flat purchases in Adarsh Society is still under progress, the affidavit added.
