Star India batter Virat Kohli joined Delhi practice in Bengaluru ahead of their Vijay Hazare Trophy clash against Andhra on December 24. The 37-year-old was spotted in a jovial mood, speaking to Delhi captain Rishabh Pant and Ishant Sharma.
Star India batter Virat Kohli will play the Vijay Hazare Trophy for the first time in 15 years. He has joined the Delhi camp and will be playing a couple of games in the domestic tournament. On December 23, he was spotted enjoying the practice session with some of his teammates, such as Ishant Sharma and Rishabh Pant.

Kohli has played 14 matches so far in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, scoring 819 runs. In the 2008-09 season, the 37-year-old finished as the leading run-scorer, accumulating 534 runs in seven matches at an average of 89.

Virat Kohli was seen in a very fun mood during the training session on December 23. Notably, Delhi will play their first match against Andhra at the BCCI's CoE and Kohli will be playing under the leadership of his national teammate Rishabh Pant.

This will mark Kohli's second appearance for Delhi within a year. He featured in the Ranji Trophy clash against Services earlier in the year, before the veteran called his time in Test cricket. During that time, Kohli was reported to be the first one to join the practice and the last one to leave.

Meanwhile, Kohli has been phenomenal in List A cricket in 2025. He was India's second-leading run-scorer in the Champions Trophy and recently scored back-to-back centuries against South Africa. The Delhi-born would hope to keep up with the same momentum against Andhra.
