Cameron Green may pocket just INR 18 crore out of his total paycheque of INR 25.2 crore, but the Australian all-rounder got to be the most expensive player at an IPL mini auction, shattering Mitchell Starc's record from a couple of years ago. Rishabh Pant, the Lucknow Super Giants captain, was bid for by Sanjiv Goenka and Co in the IPL 2025 mega auction. LSG had increased the bid from INR 20.75 crore to INR 27 crore after the Delhi Capitals had used RTM to buy him back, before Lucknow got him eventually.
