Cricketers to have represented their country in different sport

Over the years, there have been several stars who have played cricket and have also represented their countries in other sports as well. Continuing on the same, let us have a look at five cricketers to have represented their country in a different sport.

5. Riley Norton is one such rare breed of stars to have played multiple sports for his country. Having represented South Africa U19 in the 2024 World Cup, Norton was the captain of South Africa's rugby side that reached the U20 World Cup final as well.

4. New Zealand's Jeff Wilson is another star to have played multiple sports, revered as one of the most accomplished all-round sportsment of the modern era, Wilson began his career with the Black Caps but after not finding much luck, he tried his hand at Rugby and went on to become an All Blacks legend, scoring 44 tries. After retiring at 28, Wilson once again tried made his return to cricket.

Chahal played Chess for India at a junior level, also winning the Under-12 Championship in Kolkata in 2002. He also represented the country at Asian and World U12 junior championships as well.

Apart from Cricket, he also played football for Southampton and Portsmouth, even appearing in the FA Cup final in 1902. He also equalled the world long jump record as well.
