Happy Birthday Karisma Kapoor: How this '90s actress transformed herself

Born to actors Randhir Kapoor and Babita, Karisma is part of the famous Kapoor dynasty of Bollywood.

Karisma Kapoor made her Bollywood debut with 1991 film Prem Qaidi. The film which also starred Telugu actor Harish Kumar.

Karisma Kapoor was seen next to superstar Salman Khan is five films which included Andaz Apna Apna, Biwi No 1, Hum Saath Saath Hain, Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge and Chal Mere Bhai.

Karisma won her first Filmfare Best Actress Award for the film Raja Hindustani and she starred opposite to Aamir Khan for the first and the only time.

Karisma married Sunjay Kapur who is an industrialist in 2003 and the couple was divorced in 2016.

In 2000 she won her second Filmfare Best Actress Award for her performance in Khalid Mohamed's Fiza in which she played the role of Hrithik Roshan's sister.

Karisma Kapoor was offered the role of Tina in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. She backed off as she did not want to play side roles then.

She will be soon making her digital debut with the web series Metalhood. The web series will showcase the struggle of mothers.
