Baahubali 2, Dangal become the most searched films in Google India's 2017 list

Director SS Rajamouli’s film Baahubali needs no introduction. Ever since the trailer of the film was out, the flick started to break many records. After the earth-shattering collections, the movie has also topped the Google Top Trending Movies list. Yes, Google India has announced its search results for this year and here are the movies that secured their positions in the list.

Dangal: Aamir Khan starrer was one of the best films of the year. The movie not only did wonders in India but also performed well in China. The movie was based on the real-life story of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat.

Half Girlfriend: Arjun Kapoor and Sharddha Kapoor starrer was based on Chetan Bhagat’s book ‘Half Girlfriend’. The movie was not able to generate heat at the box office but its songs received praises.

Badrinath ki Dulhania: The film was the sequel to Badrinath Ki Dulhania and featured Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. It entered the coveted Rs 100 crore club.

Munna Michael: It is surprising to see this film in the list as Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Tiger Shroff starrer doomed at the box office.

Jagga Jasoos: Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starrer received mixed reviews from the critics. The film was helmed by Anurag Basu.

Raees: Shah Rukh Khan’s film had some whistle worthy dialogues. The actor impressed movie buffs in his gangster avatar. The film entered the coveted Rs 100 crore club.

Fast and Furious 8: The Hollywood film was the second-highest worldwide grossing film of 2017.

Raabta: Sushant Singh Rajput and Krti Sanon starrer reincarnation drama received mixed reviews from the audience.

Ok Jaanu: The film was the remake of Tamil film OK Kanmani. Unfortunately, Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor starrer failed to lure movie buffs.
