New Delhi: California boy Mikey Cortez was seven years old when he met with a road accident and went to coma from which he never woke up.
Soon after the accident, Mikey's father Paul Cortez walked into the pediatric intensive care unit of Riverside County Regional Medical Center to find his 7-year-old son, Mikey, barely clinging to life.
Since then Mikey would have never been able to shower or dress or feed himself during the years he was rapidly growing from little boy to teenager and, finally, into a strapping, 150-pound man.
