Octopus Boy

 

Deepak Kumar Paswan of Bihar, who is popularly known as the "octopus boy" was born with partially developed legs and arms of his parasitic twin attavhed to his chest. While some perceived him as the incarnation of God, there were some people as well who thought the boy has an evil in his body. It took four-hour operation to remove the undeveloped twin from his body.

Born on December 31,  2005, in Bihar, Lakshmi Tatama, was an extraordinary child- a girl with four arms and four legs. In her case, her twin's head and chest had not fully developed in the womb which made her look like a child with four legs and arms. She was named after the multi-limbed Hindu goddess of wealth, Lakshmi. In her case, her twin's head and chest had not fully developed in the womb which looks like a child with four legs and arms. Many people started worshipping her as an incarnation of the Goddess Lakshmi. It took 27 hours operations and a team of 30 doctors to remove the parasitic twin from the child's body.
