Hyderabad, Aug 7: Three government officials were nabbed yesterday by the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) for allegedly accpting bribes, across different parts of Andhra Pradesh.
Industrial Promotion Officer N Naveen at District Industries Centre at Balanagar was caught red-handed by ACB Officials while he accepted a bribe of Rs 12,000 from a complainant on the instructions of Assistant Director V Anand, for doing an official favour, an ACB release said.
Both officials have been arrested, it said. In another case, ACB officials caught V V Reddy, an agriculture officer of Hologonda mandal in Kurnool district when he allegedly accepted a Rs 3,000 bribe from a complainant, to renew the license of his fertiliser shop.
Both the cases are being investigated, the release said.
