JAC employees organised an impressive rally on the main streets and a formed human chain at the zilla parishad centre.
Relay fasts continued for the 65th day, with 100 panchayat employees joining the fast.
The teachers' JAC organised a protest in front of the collectorate, doctors, nurses and other employees of the government general hospital held a protest rally in the hospital campus.
Later, they staged a road blockade in front of the hospital in support of a “united” Andhra Pradesh.
