Ahmedabad: A grand welcome was given to Narendra Modi and his aide Amit Shah when they arrived here at the city airport after the President appointed him as the Prime Minister of the country.In his
“This election has given so much. One such thing is an efficient worker like Amit Shah.
Very few people can estimate the power of the real worker,” Modi said, praising Shah.
“In 20 states and union territories, Congress was not able to open its account, while, in what the Congress could gather (seats) from 30 states, Amit delivered almost double that number from UP,” Modi said.
Modi said that the people of Gujarat and party workers would have “first right” over him as he is a primary member of the party from Gujarat.
Modi was appointed Prime Minister by President Pranab Mukherjee today after he led the BJP and NDA to a landslide victory in the 2014 general elections.
