MCD simplifies trade licence procedure
New Delhi: Traders in Delhi will soon be able to obtain licences in a simplified manner after the Municipal Corporations took a decision in this regard here today. The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) will
“We need to do away with inspector and license raj. MCD leaders will look into various procedures and systems and find ways and means to ensure quick, effective and transparent action on all issues,” he said.
“We will be constantly monitoring the functioning of the MCDs and in days to come many more steps will be initiated to make them more and more people-friendly,” Goel said.
On other issues, the BJP leader has asked the councillors to spruce up sanitation in all wards in the city.
He also announced the appointment of Meera Agarwal as the leader of North Delhi Municipal Corporation.
Slamming AAP-Congress alliance, he said the tie-up is increasingly becoming fragile due to inner contradictions and accused it of failing to resolve issues concerning people.
The meeting was attended among others by leaders and standing committee chairpersons as well as mayors of the municipal corporations.
