New Delhi: A female advocate tried to commit in Supreme Court on Monday. The lady claimed that she was forced to take the extreme step as she could get justice in her sexual harassment case.

The victim, who is an advocate and practices in Chattisgarh High court, alleged that she was gang-raped by her brother-in-law, his son and two other people.

She consumed phenyl in Chief Justice R M Lodha's court.

According to the victim she registered an FIR in the police but no action was taken against the culprits.  She also gave a written complaint in the court but all her attempts went in vain.

She was immediately taken to the nearby dispensary on the instructions of Justice R M Lodha.

The police alleged that victim's FIR was registered by them but according to the medical report there was no confirmation about her rape. Also the people she accused of raping her were found to be out of town on the day of incident.

However, Justice R M Lodha has taken cognizance of the matter and has listed the case for hearing tomorrow.
