7. Garibi Hatao  (remove poverty)

 

This slogan was given by late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the 1971 Lok Sabha elections, which she won by a landslide margin. 

The slogan cheered up millions of poor people across India, for which Indira Gandhi launched the 20-point programme.

8. "Jai Jawan Jai kisan Jai Vigyan" :

Atal Bihari Vajpayee gave the slogan "Jai Jawan Jai kisan Jai Vigyan".  Former PM of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee added "Jai Vigyan" (Hail knowledge) to the slogan "Jai Jawan Jai Kisan" to underline the importance of knowledge.
 
The quote was given after Pokaran tests in 1998.
