Ghaziabad/Ralegan Siddhi, Oct 15: Team Anna movement is facing fresh challenges with some unknown persons issuing threats to Team Anna member Arvind Kejriwal on phone.
On Saturday, Kejriwal met anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare in his native village Ralegan Siddhi and briefed him about the threats.
"Some people have been sending SMSes to me and my supporters threatening to carry out attacks on the offices of India Against Corruption", Kejriwal said.
"It appears to be part of a grand conspiracy, but I do not understand who are behind it", said Kejriwal.
In Ghaziabad's Koshambi, outside the home of Kejriwal, which functions as the office of India Against Corruption, some people claiming to be former activists of Team Anna movement showed receipts to allege that Kejriwal's NGO has been collecting donations despite a clear directive from Hazare not to collect donations.
These former supporters staged a sit-in outside Kejriwal's home in Koshambi, even as Kejriwal's supporters, which included school students in uniforms, sat on a counter sit-in to protest attacks on Prashant Bhushan and Team Anna supporters in Delhi.
