Gold treasure hunt: ASI notices one meter thick wall at site in UP
Daundiya Kheda(UP): Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) experts have noticed a one-metre thick wall inside the excavation area at Daundiya Kheda near Unnao, after two days of digging. Sources said, the upper bricks of this
The ASI has so far dug up to 70 centimetres till date.
The excavation is going on at the remains of the old fort belonging to Raja Rao Ram Baksh Singh, a local chieftain who was hanged by the British after the 1857 war of independence.
