In this category also BJP is leading as 237 (84 per cent) out of its 281 winners are crorepatis.
In Congress, 35 (80 per cent) out of 44 winners are crorepatis.
ADR also underlined that chances of candidates with criminal charges were almost double as compared to clean candidates.
“The chances of winning of a candidate with criminal cases in the Lok Sabha 2014 elections are 13 per cent while for a candidate with a clean record it is 5 per cent,” ADR said in its analysis.
The ADR was established in 1999 by a group of professors from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad.
