New Delhi, Sep 22:Subhash Yadav, husband of Congress councillor Sunita Yadav, on Friday bashed up a youth Nijhar Singh in Tilak Nagar over a road rage issue.
Nijhar Singh was driving his motorbike when he found Subhash Yadav with some followers blocking his way.
As Nijhar blew his bike horn several times, Subhash Yadav got irritated and shouted at him saying: "Don't you know who I am?"
Says Nijhar Singh: "Subhash Yadav, his son and nephew dragged me from my bike into a room and began bashing me up. My brother and sister came to my rescue, they also manhandled them."
Though local residents were witness to this incident, Subhash Yadav says, he is innocent.
"the allegation is baselss. My son had a scuffle with him, and I separated them. My wife is the councillor, but I distribute pension money on her behalf."
Delhi Police took Subhash Yadav and his son to the police station to record their statement, but is yet to take action. A police official said, they were awaiting the medical report.
