New Delhi: The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued fresh advisory to all state governments for security arrangements during political rallies organised for Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi and BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.
The MHA has told state government to get in touch in case of any doubts relating to security arrangements.
MHA sources said, advisories had been sent from time to time in view of these rallies, but state governments subsequently had been saying that they were unable to understand the language and real objective behind the advisories.
In the fresh advisory, state governments have been clearly directed not to waste time and immediately get in touch with MHA in case of any doubts.
MHA sources said, the Centre had issued alert four days before the Patna serial blasts, but after the blasts took place, the Bihar police said the advisory was not clear. The fresh advisory is intended to clear up the confusion.
