New Delhi: In a massive development amid diplomatic row with Canada, India on Wednesday (October 25) resumed visa services in Canada for four categories - Entry visa, Business visa, Medical visa and Conference visa. The government of India had suspended the visa services for Canadian nationals in September, according to the High Commission of India in Ottawa.

2 killed after truck topples on Durga Puja immersion procession in Jamshedpur
Two persons were killed and four others injured when a truck toppled on people who were walking in a procession for the immersion of the idol of goddess Durga in Jamshedpur in Jharkhand, officials said. The accident happened at the Bodhanwala Ghat in Bistupur police station area on Tuesday evening when the truck was negotiating a slope, they said. Two persons died at the Tata Main Hospital, where four other injured are undergoing treatment, Health Minister Banna Gupta said in a statement after visiting the healthcare facility.

6 people returning after Adi Kailash visit dead as car falls into river
Six people died in Uttarakhand's Pithoragarh district on Tuesday when their car fell into the Kali river near Lakhanpur, police said. Pithoragarh Superintendent of Police (SP) Lokeshwar Singh said the incident took place on the Dharchula-Lipulekh road late in the evening when the victims were returning after a 'darshan' of Adi Kailash.
