Vijayawada (AP): Two Vijayawada engineers, who were allegedly kidnapped by the militants in Nagaland, were released later this evening.
The duo was released safely as negotiations with kidnappers by Construction Company representatives went on successful.
They may reach safe place within one hour and would reach Vijayawada tomorrow or day after, claims reports.
Father of one engineer received msg from the company management regarding his son Raghu's release.
According to the reports, Gogineni Prateesh Chandra and Raghu of vijayada were working in Timarpur of Nagaland in Prudhvi Construction as engineers. When they were coming to vijayawada with another friend, a militant group allegedly kidnapped the duo.
Engineers' friend informed their family members about the kidnapping incidents.
This news has provoked a row of tension among their families and now they are demanding the government to intervene and take efforts to release them
Mobile phones of both the victims are switched off after the incident, said the family.
Noticeably, this incident had come into light two days later as the engineers whereabouts are not known yet.
