Bhopal, Apr 27: Leader of Opposition in Madhya Pradesh assembly, Ajay Singh said here today that the BJP government in the state must immediately issue a white paper on the funds spent on Panchayats.
In a statement, the leader of the opposition said that the recent decision of the Madhya Pradesh High Court to stop any expenditure from the Rs 350 crore available with the Karamkar Mandal was a slap on the face of the State government.
Ajay said that the High Court had also stopped the State government from spending Rs 3.50 crore on the Mazdoor Panchayat slated to be held tomorrow.
He said that State Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan had organised a total of 34 panchayats till now and demanded that he should issue a white paper on the announcements made in them and tell how many of them were implemented in reality.
