A huge ruckus was witnessed at the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly on Saturday after Speaker Kavinder Gupta blamed Rohingya refugees for Army camp attack in Jammu and Kashmir.
“The incident took place due to presence of Rohingyas in the area,” Kavinder Gupta said.
After Speaker's controversial comment, the entire Opposition stormed into the Well of the House and demanded apology from him.
Earlier in the day, BJP MLAs raised anti-Pakistan slogans in the assembly, following which the House was adjourned for 15 minutes. National Conference legislator Muhammad Akbar Lone also shouted pro-Pakistan slogans to counter BJP MLAs who were shouting anti-Pakistan slogans.
