A major accident was averted on Saturday when the New Delhi-Bhubaneshwar Rajdhani Express' caught fire near Khantapada station in Balasore district.

According to reports, the last coach of the train caught fire following which the railway staff detached the car from the train.

All the passengers of the Rajdhani Express were safe. The fire was brought under control by the team of Odisha Fire and Disaster Response Academy.
