Akshay Kumar has emerged to be one of the most bankable stars in the recent years. Not just back to back hits, the actor is also treating his fans with different subjects through his movies. Despite hectic schedule, Akshay doesn't miss getting up at 4 am in the morning. The PadMan actor is one of those few Bollywood stars who are strict about their daily routine and fitness regimen.

Akshay often shares his workout videos on social media to inspire his followers. The actor's latest video talks about core training for stomach and back muscles. Akshay also called summers the best time to sweat it out. Sharing a clip of himself doing an exercise with wooden beads, the Rustom actor wrote: ''Core training my way through the summer heat with these wooden beads…great for the back and stomach muscles. Also best time of the year to sweat it out Time for a #FitIndia''

Akshay, who leads a disciplined life says, there is no shortcut to building one's body. He doesn't take steroids, powders, shakes and avoid eating processed foods. Akshay also doesn't eat after 7 pm in the evening. In case, he has to go out for a dinner, he takes only proteins, no carbs.

On the professional front, Akshay has completed the shooting of Reema Kagti's Gold, which will release this Independence Day. Currently, he is shooting for Kesari, co-starring Parineeti Chopra. He is also on board for multi-starrer Housefull 4.
