Hina Khan became the first Indian TV actress to walk the red carpet of coveted Cannes Film Festival 2019. For the day, Hina wore a fairytale gown with a plunging neckline while her hair was done in a princess updo. Her fans were raving about her Cannes look but a magazine editor found it okay to mock her appearance. Taking a jibe at her Cannes look, he wrote, "Did Cannes become Chandivali Studios Kya? sharing a picture of Hina Khan from the gala. The comment didn't go down well with Hina's fans as well as members of television fraternity. Many of them came out in support of their fellow member and criticised the editor for his remarks.
