The veteran actress breather her last at the age of 54 in Dubai following a cardiac arrest. Sridevi, who was last seen in the film Mom, has made her film debut with Telugu movie Maa Nanna Nirdoshi as a child artist. The legendary actress has acted with stalwarts such as NT Rama Rao, A. Nageswara Rao, Sobhan Babu, Krishna, Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh.

Actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan reacting to legendary actress Sridevi's sudden death expressed his shock on Sunday morning. Taking to Twitter, the Tamil actor recalled his work with the late actress.

Movie Artists Association (MAA) former president Murali Mohan mourning her death demanded that Sridevi must be honoured with Dada Phalke Award.
Senior actress Jamuna said that Sridevi is an icon of South Indian film industry. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu also condoled the sudden death of Sridevi.
