Veere Di Wedding star Sonam Kapoor
With the theme ‘shades of white’ and in a full-on Bollywood style, Veere Di Wedding star Sonam Kapoor’s pre-wedding function kick-started yesterday. The colourful mehendi function was followed by a star-studded sangeet ceremony. The event not just witnessed bevy of Bollywood bigwigs including Jacqueline Fernandez, Rekha, Katrina Kaif and others but also became a day to remember for many. Sridevi’s elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor and actress Jacqueline Fernandez enjoyed the Kaleerein ceremony most.
Sonam looked stunning in her ivory and gold hand embroidered chinkara lehenga by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. She complimented her look by Kundan jewellery set which included a statement neckpiece, a mang tikka, jhumkas and handcuff.
Sonam wore her mother’s Sunita Kapoor’s gold and Kundan jewellery for her special day. The jewellery was designed by Sonam’s mom Sunita herself. And to add to your surprise, we would like to reveal that Sonam wore the same choker for her Cannes look.

Sonam’s wedding ceremony is scheduled to take place today between 11 am and 12:30 pm at Rockdale, which is Sonam’s aunt Kavita Singh’s bungalow in Bandra.
The wedding ceremony will be followed by a grand reception in the evening at The Leela.
