While Bollywood film industry is now focusing on content-driven scripts, it gives us immense joy as viewers. While we don't hate masala films, but they are good once in a while for a specific set of audience. Well, one Bollywood actor who has stand out of the crowd for choosing different kinds of scripts and has been loved by his fans is certainly Ayushmann Khurrana.
Since the word go, Ayushmann has tried portraying distinctive characters on the silver screen. From his debut film Vicky Donor, which released in 2012, to Andhadhun, which released in 2018, the actor has been rocketing his fan base. Now, Ayushmann's upcoming release Article 15 is based on an Article in the Constitution of India which prohibits discrimination against anyone on the basis of caste, creed, religion, sex and more.
The team of Article 15 has been rejoicing since it has been selected for the prestigious London Indian Film Festival. The film is all set to be screened on the opening night of the grand film fest.
As per a report of a magazine, London Indian Film Festival is among a renowned extravaganza of movies where many prolific guests come to enjoy world cinema. It is supported by Bagri Foundation and the British Film Institute. Guests like Radhika Apte, Anurag Kashyap and more will be in attendance at the 10th edition of the London Indian Film Festival. Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s film Photograph will also be screened in the film festival, but on the closing night.
Telling you more about the film, it stars Isha Talwar, Sayani Gupta, Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub, Kumud Mishra and Manoj Pahwa. Article 15 will hit the theatres on June 28, 2019.
