New Delhi: Shahid Kapoor who is finally tying the knot with Delhi based Mira Rajput today burnt the dance floor with his stunning dance moves at his sangeet ceremony.
The 'Haider' star and Mira looked gorgeous together while dancing on stage. Mira sported a lemon coloured beautiful lehenga choli and Shahid wore a colour coordinated red kurta with black churidaar teamed up with a black Nehru jacket. Not to mention the star was looking dapper.
The wedding functions of the couple kickstarted with a glittery sangeet ceremony on July 6 and why not, after all it's a big fat Punjabi wedding and that too of Shahid Kapoor.
The sangeet ceremony playlist included songs from Shahid's films - 'Mauja Hi Mauja', 'Tu Mera Agal Bagal Hain' and 'Saree Ka Fall Sa'.
Shahid's parents - Pankaj Kapoor, Supriya Pathak along with siblings Sanaah and Ruhaan were seen happily posing for the camera during the ceremony. Shahid's close friends - Masaba Gupta and Madhu Mantena were seen arriving at the bash.
The busy actor managed to wrap up his work and leave Mumbai just a day before the D-day. The 'Haider' actor was busy with the work commitments and the shooting of dance reality show 'Jhalak Diklha Jaa'.
However, his parents Supriya Pathak-Pankaj Kapoor along with children Sanaah and Ruhaan arrived on Sunday morning at Gurgaon's Trident hotel.
The couple will be tying the knot today at Mira's Chattarpur residence, followed a grand after party at Hotel Oberoi Gurgaon.
The party is expected to be attended by 500 guests. The family and other guests have been booked into the Trident next door.
A reception will reportedly be held in Mumbai on July 12.
