But, there are some celebs who have set an offbeat trend by bringing about a change in the society, These B-town personalities have taken a bold step to adopt kids and the list includes many single parents as well. So, take a look at some real-life heroes and some of the children who brought bundle of joy to complete their families.Sushmita Sen- Sushmita sen is one of the most prominent woman in the Bollywood to adopt kids. Renee and Alisah are the two daughters which Sushmita adopted. She fought a long battle to bring her baby, Renee home. After some years Sush, brought home Alisah, another baby girl. To bring Alisah home, Sushmita has to fight for almost two years.Salim Khan- Bollywood screenwriter Salim Khan adopted Arpita at a very young age The Khan family, especially Salman simply adores their little girl Arpita. As per the reports,Arpita is daughter of a women who died on footpath.Raveena Tandon- She is the another actress who is also popular in the adoption list. Raveena adopted her first child at age of 21. Marriage to Anil Thadani happened much later. She adopted two daughters Chhaya and Pooja. Raveena also has two kids from her husband, daughter Rasha and son Ranbir.Subhash Ghai- Filmmaker Subhash Ghai refrains from disclosing his personal life in public, especially about her adopted daughter, Meghna. Ghai raised her and got her educated in London. Meghna also takes care of Gha's acting school and production company. Meghna is biological daughter of Ghai's younger brother.Preity zinta- Bollywood actress Preity Zinta adopted 34 orphans from Mother Miracle school, Rishikesh in 2009. Preity has taken the responsibility of their entire upbringing.Rahul Bose- Actor Rahul Bose is known for his charity work. In late 2007, he adopted six children aged 11, with the consent of his charity institution, from the Andaman and Nicobar islands. The names of the lucky kids are Pratima, Rukhsar, Matrena, Bindu, JinuDibakar Banerjee- The man behind films like 'Khosla Ka Ghosla', 'Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye' and 'Bombay Talkies', Dibakar Banerjee and his wife adopted a girl child and named her Ira.Sandip Soparkar- Choreographer Sandip Soparkar always wanted to adopt a child but since he was single, he wasn't allowed to adopt a child. After a three and a half year wait, Sandip was allowed to adopt Arjun.Nikhil Advani- Nikhil Advani and his wife Suporna became parents when they adopted a beautiful girl Keya. It was 2007, when Nikhil's 'Salaa,-e-Ishq' was ready for release , he adopted a baby girl and brought bundle of happiness to his family.Shobhana- The famous South actress and Bharatnatyam dancer adopted a six-months old baby girl in 2010. She named her Ananthanaryani.
