New Delhi: The reality show ‘Bigg Boss 9' enjoys a huge fan base and is quite popular amongst the audience.
The show, off late, is witnessing a lot of twist and turns these days in the form of weird tasks, wild card entries and elimination by housemates.
Recently, in BB house TV star Digangana Suryavanshi was evicted from the show by the housemates.
While the contestant herself was quite happy with the decision, her elimination didn't go down well with one of her fans. The fan went on to take an extreme step – suicide.

Aaliya Khan, a Bangladeshi fan of Digangana attempted to commit suicide post her eviction from Bigg Boss 9 as she was allegedly upset that the ‘Veera' star was voted out by contestants and not by the audience's votes.
Diganganga herself is quite shocked with the incident. While talking to a web portal, she said, “She is in the hospital right now and I have been trying to get in touch with her family to know how she's doing. She had been writing on social media how she is unhappy with my eviction and thinks it was unfair that not the audience, but the housemates have voted me out. It was through a direct message on Twitter that I got to know that she has actually taken this step.”
“I am very proud that I have come out of the house with my dignity intact and I am very proud of my fans who have constantly supported me. Please don't let things like these get on your nerves”, she added.
Digangana has even urged her fans through micro-blogging site Twitter to pray for Aaliya as she tweeted, “Plz pray for Aaliya Khan! She's battling for life!”
Digangana has been the youngest contestant of Bigg Boss so far and used to command record votes every week. She was evicted this week after the BB housemates mutually decide to vote her out.
