New Delhi: The channel Star Plus released a promo of megastar Amitabh Bachchan's next TV show titled ‘Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi'.

Big B who is the undisputed Shehenshah of Bollywood was last seen as host of the popular game show Kaun Banega Crorepati last year on channel Sony. This new show will be airing on Star Plus, which aired the first three seasons of KBC.

‘Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi' is the Indian adaptation of the international TV series, ‘Tonight's the Night'. The BBC non-fiction show is based on making dreams come true. It features ordinary people living out their fantasies for real.

It was speculated that the producers of the show wanted to have actor Ranveer Singh as host. They really liked Ranveer's energy and given how he connects with the young audiences, the makers felt having him on board would work in their favour immensely.

However, due to his prior commitments especially to the magnum opus movie, ‘Bajirao Mastani', Ranveer opted out. Luckily for the producers, they managed to rope in none other than Amitabh Bachchan for the show.

In the promo, we see the cool side of Big B as he dances freely to the beats. With him as host, the makers are definitely in for a hit show.
