Zero Box Office Collection Day 2: Shah Rukh Khan’s film slips on Saturday, earns 38.36 crore
Aanand L Rai’s latest Bollywood film Zero starring Shah Rukh Khan has witnessed a drop on the second day of its release. After opening to a decent Rs 20.14 crore on its first day, the fantasy drama film stood at Rs 18.22 on day two taking the grand total to Rs 38.36 crore. The film also featuring Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif released on December 21.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh said, “#Zero slips on Day 2... Biz should’ve witnessed solid growth on Day 2 after an underwhelming Day 1 but is struggling at the BO... Decline on Day 2 [vis-à-vis Day 1]: 9.53%... Fri 20.14 cr, Sat 18.22 cr. Total: ₹ 38.36 cr. India biz”.
On the other hand, Aamir Khan's Thugs Of Hindostan opened with a big bang during Diwali and collected over Rs 52 crore on the first day itself. However, the momentum nose-dived over the weekend. Ranbir Kapoor's Sanju collected Rs 34. 75 crore on day 1. It is followed by Salman Khan's Race 3 which earned Rs 29.17 crore.
Zero Movie Box Office Collection was expected to take the pace on weekend but it looks like negative word of mouth played a spoiling role for the film.
Aanand L Rai directorial film Zero failed to receive the expected grand opening at the box office as it fails to attract more views while the for the die heart fans of SRK, their superstar’s charm was the only highlight of the movie.

The story revolves around Bauua Singh as Shahrukh Khan. A drawf man wastes his father’s hard earned money and is fascinated by superstar Babita Kumar as Katrina Kaif. Later Bauua fell in love with a scientist, Aafia as Anushka Sharma Kohli who is affected by paralysis. In the movie, their love story travels from India to the USA and all the way to the outer space.
