Superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ is receiving good response at the box office. The film collected Rs 20.42 crore on its opening day giving sleepless nights to the makers of Hrithik Roshan starrer ‘Kaabil’. And, now the second day collection of the movie is out and it’s the proof of Shah Rukh’s huge fan following in the country.

The film witnessed a growth on its second day and minted Rs 26.30 cr. As it was Republic day holiday, both the movies were expected to perform well. ‘Kaabil’ also earned more from its opening day and fetched Rs 14 crore. The film opened with the decent amount of Rs 10.43 crore.

The margin between the collections of both the movies is increasing with each passing day. And, it seems that King Khan will emerge as the ultimate winner of box office. Though, ‘Kaabil’ received good reviews but the film is still struggling to match with ‘Raees’ at the ticket window.

The collections of both the movies are expected to improve in coming days.

‘Raees’ was helmed by Rahul Dholakia and featured SRK as gangster. Pakistani actress Mahira Khan played his love interest and actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui essayed the role of a cop. On the other hand, directed by Sanjay Gupta, ‘Kaabil’ portrayed Hrithik and love of his life, Yami Gautam as visually impaired people. Both the films released on January 25.
