It can be said that this was not a great year for Bollywood love birds. After many celebrities headed for splitsville, rumours were abuzz that the most adorable couple of the industry, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, have parted ways. The news came as a shock to all the movie buffs.
However, Deepika’s reaction on these reports hinted that these were mere rumours. “I have understood it (the speculations) well enough to know what I should absorb and what I shouldn’t. After a point, one becomes completely immune to these things. You can only do things that are in your control,” she had said.
Amidst this hullabaloo, the Bajirao of Bollywood has given a huge add-on to the tabloids.
While talking to a popular film magazine, Ranveer Singh got candid about his heartbreaks. He not only talked about his heartbroken stage during teenage years but also confessed hearing sad songs during those days.
The ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ actor said, "My heartbreaks have always been about the girl I loved, hitching with my best friend. I have lost two best pals over two gals like that. Those were teenage years so things were dramatic. There was crying and listening to dard-bhare gaane. It seems like the end of the world."
Well, we are sure many would wonder why all of a sudden he is discussing heartbreaks. However, it doesn’t necessarily mean that his current relationship has hit a rough patch.
The dating rumours of Ranveer and Deepika started doing rounds when they first worked together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela’. Though both the actors have never admitted their love publicly but Ranveer’s admiration for his lady love was clearly visible on social networking sites and various occasions.
On the work front, Ranveer will be next seen in ‘Befikre’ alongside Vaani Kapoor. Directed by Aditya Chopra, the project is bankrolled by Yash Raj Films. The movie is slated to release on December 9. Whereas, Deepika will be seen making her Hollywood debut with ‘xXx: The Return of Xander Cage’ alongside Vin Diesel in January next year.
