Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy have finally wrapped up their comedy-drama Made In China with big smiles and a group picture. This is the first time that Mouni Roy has shared a screen space with Rajkummar Rao and fans have been waiting to see their chemistry on the silver screen. The diva took to her social media to announce that they have wrapped up the film and shared a picture with the whole team. She captioned it saying, “Oh what a trippppp! MADE IN CHINA.” In the picture, while Rajkummar Rao is seen flaunting his brightest smile, Mouni Roy is seen making a cute face wearing an orange dress. The whole team surely looks happy as they pose for a group picture.
Rajkummar Rao and Mouni Roy earlier introduced their fans with their characters in the film. They will be playing Raghu and Rukmini in made In China and will be seen donning a Gujrati avatar. Mouni will play Rajkummar’s wife in the film as he plays a Gujarati businessman and take a bizarre journey to become a successful entrepreneur. Sharing their first look from the film, Rajkummar Rao wrote, “Meet Raghu & Rukmini…This Independence Day be independent! #MadeInChina on 15th August, 2019! Mark your calendars!”
The film was earlier supposed to hit the screens on August 15 but the makers postponed it later. Bollywood critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his social media to announce the new release date and said, “Rajkummar Rao, Boman Irani and Mouni Roy... #MadeInChina gets a new release date: 30 Aug 2019... Directed by Mikhil Musale... Produced by Dinesh Vijan... The producer had released #Stree on 31 Aug 2018.” Interestingly, the film will release just one day before Rajkummar Rao’s birthday.

On the professional front, after Made in China, Rajkummar Rao will be seen in Dinesh Vijan’s Roohafza alongside janhvi Kapoor. He will also be seen in Balaji Telefilms’ Mental hai Kya along with Kangana Ranaut. On the other hand, Mouni Roy will be seen playing the antagonist in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra also starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan. Also, Mouni will also charm the audience with her fifth Hindi film Bole Chudiyan opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
