Neil Nitin Mukesh says his mother wants to date him in next life

It is a rare sight for tabloids to have actor Neil Nitin Mukesh’s face splashed all over it. He is rarely seen in movies or events giving less fodder to people to talk about him. But, Neil recently said something which made him a trending topic on social media websites.

The ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ actor during an interview said that his mother wants to be his girlfriend in next life.

Yes, you read it right.

Neil made this statement while he was speaking about his journey in Bollywood and how he likes doing grey character. Last seen in Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar starrer ‘Wazir’, Neil said that he does negative roles because in real life he is the exact opposite. Calling himself a romantic, he said that his expressive behaviour had prompted his mother to say that she would like to be his girlfriend in next life.

“My mom once told me that she wants to be born as my girlfriend in the next birth because she sees me how I am, I am extremely expressive and she loves me for that. Without love, I feel lost,” Neil was quoted by a leading entertainment portal.

He added that his favourite romantic song is ‘Tum Hi Ho’ sung by Arijit Singh for ‘Aashiqui 2’.

However, it was not his favourite song statement but the one about his mother wanting to be his partner that raised eyebrows of netizens. Neil was called out on social media for his gross comment. Many were of the opinion that though Neil couldn’t make it to the cut for HBO’s series ‘Game Of Thrones’, he is quite inspired by the Lannisters, who believe in keeping all in the family.
