Manikarnika box office collection Day 6: Kangana Ranaut’s film earns Rs 56.90 crore
Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi which is a periodical drama based on the life of Rani Laxmibai is doing quite well at the box-office. Manikarnika which is also a Bollywood debut film of TV actress Ankita Lokhande opened with a box-office collection of Rs Rs 8.75 crore.
The continued it's successful run and earned Rs 18.10 crore on day 2, Rs 15.70 crore on day 3, Rs 5.10 crore on day 4 and Rs 4.75 crore on day 5. The film collected Rs 4.50 crore on day 6 earned a total of Rs 56.90 crore at the box-office.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh stating the day 6 collection of the film wrote, ‘’#Manikarnika shows solid trending on weekdays... ₹ 60 cr [+/-] total [Week 1] is excellent... #RepublicDay holiday contributed majorly... The queen of Bollywood Kangana Ranaut is popular for stupendous performances in every kind of role she has been offered raising the bar of expectations for her audience in Manikarnika as well. She was fierce and looked every bit convincing. She effortlessly brought Manikarnikma to life on the screen.
On the other hand, television actress Ankita Lokhande looks impressive as Jhalkari Bai in the film. Ankita's dance performance in the first half of the film also sings the praises of actress's talent. The film also stars actors including Mohammad Zeeshan Ayub Khan, Atul Kulkarni, Kulbhushan Kharbanda in important roles doing justice to their respective characters.
