Exclusive: Ranveer Singh talks about Padmaavat, marriage and more

Ranveer Singh starrer Padmaavat has crossed Rs 200 cr mark at the box office.

Actor Ranveer Singh is receiving praises for his latest release Padmaavat. The movie is doing a wonderful business at the box office. In an exclusive chat with India TV, the actor talked about the film, marriage and more. The handsome hunk was beaming with joy with the kind of response that the film has received. The actor stated that it was great working with Raza Murad and he was slapped many times from him in order to get the perfect shot.

Talking about Padmaavat controversy, the actor stated that he was sad and wanted to say many things, but the producers asked them maintain silence on the issue. Ranveer also added that it was probably the last time he played the role of an antagonist. 

‘Be kind’, ‘stay humble’, ‘work hard’, ‘you only get what you give’, these are some of the mottos of Ranveer’s life. He revealed that it was very difficult for him to shoot the film but the love that they received has filled everything. 

On being asked if marriage is on cards, the actor stated that he has three films in his kitty and he thinks about wedding but nothing is decided. He also talked about his favourite performance of Deepika. He stated that he likes the dimpled beauty in Piku and Chennai Express.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat has crossed Rs 200 cr mark at the box office. Ranveer was seen playing the role of Alauddin Khilji in the film. The film also featured Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor in pivotal roles.
