You can’t keep everyone happy and this certainly goes well with Priyanka Chopra’s situation recently. The actress has walked out of Salman Khan-starrer Bharat citing a very special reason which is definitely her engagement to boyfriend Nick Jonas. Ali Abbas Zafar announced the news on Friday confirming that PeeCee has exited from the project and also congratulated her on her new beginnings. However, except for Zafar, no one in the Bharat team is happy with Priyanka’s sudden decision.
Bharat’s producer Nikhil Namit, the CEO of Reel Life Productions alleged that Priyanka intimated the team just two days ago. He also called her move ‘unprofessional’.
Talking to Mid-Day, he said, “Priyanka told us she had to exit due to her engagement, two days ago. It was a little unprofessional of her to do it so suddenly.”
The report also added that Salman Khan is desperately looking for a replacement. He has the names of Katrina Kaif and Jacqueline Fernandez on his mind. Another source told the leading daily, Priyanka was keeping the makers in the loop about her probable resignation from the project.
“Priyanka had been in talks with the Bharat team over the past two weeks about how she may have to opt out for personal reasons. Sensing Priyanka's iffy attitude, Salman initiated talks with Katrina during their Dabangg Reloaded Tour in the US. Other names including that of Jacqueline are also being tossed around,” the source adds.
Katrina Kaif is almost convinced to take the role and she may soon sign the project.
On the other hand, Ali Abbas Zafar tweeted in response to queries asking him who’s going to be the leading lady of Bharat. He wrote, “Yes yes yes ... we will announce the leading lady of Bharat soon.. We have been shooting non-stop and the simultaneously preparing for international schedules.”

Bharat went on floors this month with the first schedule shooting a circus sequence. The film has Salman Khan, Disha Patani, Tabu and Nora Fatehi in pivotal roles.
Going by Nikhil Namit’s statement, it seems like not everyone in the Bharat team is happy with Priyanka Chopra’s decision.
