Aamir Khan bumps into superstar Chiranjeevi in Japan, fans go gaga

Aamir Khan got a pleasant surprise at Kyoto Airport when he met fellow superstar Chiranjeevi.

Aamir Khan's latest Twitter picture is all starry. Two stars in one frame- what more do fans want? Aamir, who is in Japan bumped into superstar Chiranjeevi, who is chilling with his wife Surekha in the country. The superstar's daughter Sushmita Konidela took to Twitter to share that they are in Japan to witness Sakura blossoms.

Aamir met the South superstar at Kyoto airport and the duo spent some quality time together talking about the movies. Aamir took to Twitter to share a picture in which both the superstars are twinning in blue. 

Calling him an inspiration, Aamir wrote, ''Ran into one of my favourite actors, Superstar Chiranjeevi Garu at Kyoto airport! What a pleasant surprise:-). Discussed his new project about freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. You are always such an inspiration sir''

On a related note, Chiranjeevi is currently shooting for Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, directed by Surender Reddy. The movie also stars Nayanthara, Amitabh Bachchan, Tamannaah, Jagapati Babu and Sudeep in pivotal roles. Produced by Ram Charan's Konidela Productions, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is a biopic on Telugu freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. The film, which has been in the making for around two years, will release later this year.

Meanwhile, Aamir recently announced his next project. On 54th birthday, the superstar announced his next film, Lal Singh Chaddha, which is an official adaptation of Forrest Gump. The movie which is slated to release next year will be helmed by Secret Superstar director Advait Chandan. Aamir has started prepping-up for his character and will lose 20 kilos in six months. Lal Singh Chaddha will go on floors in October 2019.  Aamir has bought the rights from Paramount and the project will be bankrolled by Viacom and Aamir Khan Productions. Rest of the cast is yet to be finalised.
