Actor Sidharth Malhotra, who is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film A Gentleman, has thrashed rumours of kissing scenes being chopped by the censor board. Speculations were rife that former CBFC chief Pahlaj Nihalani ordered some cuts in the film and those were kissing scenes between the lead actors. Sid quashed the reports saying that kissing scenes are present in the film and they were not chopped.
While talking at the song launch of the film, Sid said, “The kissing scene is there. It has not been cut.”
The trailer of the film received positive response from the audiences. In the recently released song, Bandook Meri Laila, Sid and the leading lady Jacqueline Fernandez shared a sizzling chemistry. It is yet to be seen if audiences like to watch the film.
Both Sid and Jacqueline have previously worked together in Brother. Ever since the trailer of A Gentleman was out, dating rumours of both the actors started doing the rounds. However, the actor has quashed all such reports.
Directed by Krishna D.K. and Raj Nidimoru, A Gentleman is all set to hit the screes on August 25.
